The island exotic paradise of Trinidad and Tobago is moderately loyal to Russian tourists, moderately strict. On the one hand, entry here for citizens of the Russian Federation is visa-free – but this rule applies to a rest period of up to 90 days, which is quite enough for a comprehensive acquaintance with the beauties of the island. On the other hand, if there are those for whom three months in Trinidad and Tobago is not enough, they will have to apply for a visa – this is done in the consular offices of Great Britain, and the documents are required “in full”. An important point: when going to Trinidad, a camouflage shirt should be left at home – pseudo-military people are not allowed on the islands. According to petwithsupplies, Port of Spain is one of the largest cities in Trinidad and Tobago.
Travel insurance for the entire duration of the trip is not mandatory, but a necessary minimum that every traveler should take care of before starting a vacation.
Border crossing
Required documents:
- a passport valid for the entire period of stay in the country;
- confirmation of hotel reservation for the duration of the trip, or a free-form letter from the inviting person;
- return tickets or confirmation of the availability of sufficient funds to purchase them – in this case, the amount must be left as a deposit at the cash desk of the immigration service.
It is forbidden to arrive in Trinidad and Tobago in military clothing or camouflage. Tourists entering the country in such clothing will be asked to change. At the same time, camouflage will be confiscated.
