MBA and LFM applicants:

1. What is an important lesson that you have learned in life? How did you come to learn this lesson? How will you apply this lesson in your future career?

2. Sloan is a very diverse place with over 60 countries represented. What will you bring to this diverse community? What do you expect to gain from the environment?

3. At Sloan we view leadership as “making things happen.” Tell us about a time when you made something important happen. What did you learn about yourself from this experience?

4. Describe a situation where you introduced and/or managed change in an organization. Tell us how you influenced others in an organization (business, school, extracurricular activity) and comment on the professional and/or personal attributes you used to do that and how these attributes (and others) might be important in the attainment of your career goals. How do you expect to further the development of these attributes at the MIT Sloan School of Management?

LFM applicants only:

5. Why do you wish to pursue the LFM Program and, in particular, the engineering program you selected? (Please be specific as the engineering department you designate will review your application.) How does this fit with your future plans?
