Uluwatu is the southernmost rocky part of Bali. At the time, the area was sparsely populated. The main attraction is the Uluwatu Temple, which is considered one of the most important temples on the island. The temple stands on picturesque rocks washed by the ocean. The views from the rocks are amazing. This place is very popular among both locals and tourists. On the territory of the temple you can meet a large number of long-tailed macaques. Macaques can snatch things from tourists, so you need to be vigilant and keep an eye on your personal belongings. With the onset of dusk on the site next to the temple, the performance of Balinese dances begins – the ritual dance Kechak.
