Seminyak
Seminyak is located north of Kuta and Legian. There is no official border between these areas, but the way of life and environment are noticeably different. Seminyak is the most “glamorous” area of Bali. There are expensive restaurants and nightclubs, designer boutiques, and, of course, stylish, luxurious villas. There are always high enough waves for surfing, but at the same time, it is quite possible to swim on these beaches.
The central street of Seminyak – The Legian is a continuous line of shops, each of which has its own character, style and concept. Their showcases compete in originality, brightness and beauty, and the quality of goods and prices can be completely different. Here you can buy clothes, shoes, jewelry and accessories, motorcycle helmets, lamps, souvenirs, household and interior items, works of art and much more.
Uluwatu
Uluwatu is the southernmost rocky part of Bali. At the time, the area was sparsely populated. The main attraction is the Uluwatu Temple, which is considered one of the most important temples on the island. The temple stands on picturesque rocks washed by the ocean. The views from the rocks are amazing. This place is very popular among both locals and tourists. On the territory of the temple you can meet a large number of long-tailed macaques. Macaques can snatch things from tourists, so you need to be vigilant and keep an eye on your personal belongings. With the onset of dusk on the site next to the temple, the performance of Balinese dances begins – the ritual dance Kechak.
Kuta / Legian
Location
The lively tourist center of Kuta is located in the southwest of the island, not far (5-15 minutes) from the airport. In place of private houses, which attracted lovers of “wild” recreation and surfers in the 1970s with cheap lodging for the night. there was a resort area, which today enjoys worldwide fame. In addition to beaches and inexpensive hotels, tourists are attracted by shops, a large selection of restaurants and bars, as well as a rich nightlife. The resort, the core of which is the beaches of Kuta and Legian, is expanding every year – from Tuban in the south to the Seminyak region in the north.
Beaches
On the beaches of Kuta – excellent conditions for surfing, especially for beginners. In the evening – beautiful sunsets.
Cafes, Restaurants, Shops and Nightclubs
One of the largest shopping centers Discovery Shopping Mall is located in the center of Kuta. Not far from it, on the central square of Kuta, is the Matahari shopping complex. Many shops and small shops are concentrated on Legian Street. Stylish boutiques – on Seminyak Street, in the north of Kuta. Here you can easily find a place for breakfast, lunch or dinner for any, even the most demanding, taste. Legian Street at night invites to numerous bars, clubs and discos. You can walk down the street and choose the club that you like. Nightlife is much more active on Fridays and Saturdays.
Attractions
Waterbom Park is located directly opposite the Discovery Shopping Mall. “Bali Bangi” – a 40-meter bungee for thrill-seekers – is located in Seminyak, in the Double Six nightclub area. There are practically no historical and cultural attractions in Kuta.
Tanjung Benoa
Location
Tanjung (“cape”) Benoa is a sandy spit on which a small village stands. Today it is a rapidly developing tourist resort, designed mainly for people with an average level of income. The road to Tanjung Benoit passes by the center of Nusa Dua (a five-star resort). On both sides of the road are hotels, massage centers and restaurants. Distance from the airport – 20-25 minutes drive.
Beaches
A strip of beach with golden sand stretches for 1.5 km along the ocean. The beach is protected from strong waves by a coral reef, which is located at a distance of 1 km from the coast. There are all conditions for practicing water sports: jet skis and water skiing, canoe racing, fishing and paragliding.
Cafes, Restaurants and Shops
Along the narrow streets of the resort there are many small shops and shops selling local souvenirs and clothing. A number of cafes and restaurants offer menus in Russian. The nearest shopping center – Bali Collection – is only 5-7 minutes away by taxi or by regular free bus departing on schedule from the resort hotels.

Thalassotherapy Center at the Grand Mirage Hotel (Grand Mirage). Lots of inexpensive massage centers along the roads. Several temples made of carved limestone.
Nusa Dua
Location
The southernmost part of Bali. Nusa Dua is a gated, exclusive hotel complex with immaculate lawns and golf courses, comfortable walking paths and fountains. 20 minutes drive from the airport and tourist center of Kuta. The most prestigious hotels are located here, the architecture of which is of interest even to connoisseurs.
Beaches
The golden fine sand of Nusa Dua is considered one of the best on the island. A strip of coral reef a kilometer away from the coast protects the beach from a strong breaking wave. A wide range of water sports and fishing is located 5 minutes from the resort of Nusa Dua – on the Tanjung Benoa Peninsula.
Cafes, Restaurants and Shops
In the very center of the Nusa Dua resort is Bali Collection – an area where many restaurants, shops, as well as an exchange office, ATMs, a supermarket are located. It can be reached on foot from any of the hotels (from 5 to 15 minutes). Before entering the main gate of Nusa Dua is a supermarket Hardy’s (Hardy`s). Near the southern entrance to Nusa Dua there are many shops and small restaurants.
Attractions
Bali International Convention Center at the Westin Hotel. It hosts international congresses, forums and other events. Regular theatrical performances take place at the Bali Collection Gallery. Every year in August, Nusa Dua hosts the Arts Festival.
