Before the Nexus One and the HTC HD2 popularized the Qualcomm Snapdragon, Toshiba had premiered it at its TG01 in July of last year. Using also the version of the chipset 1 GHz, and accompanied by a display of 4.1 inches, all in a very slim design.
Yesterday met the development of a second version of the Toshiba TG02, which even some expected for the end of the year, but that looks over the head now thanks to the FCC. Before commenting on the known specifications, I hope that they placed a screen of capacitive type.
It presents a novelty rather original in this segment, since it will have IPx4-certified, which makes it water resistant. As we can see below the rest of the specifications have not changed much, I don’t think that it is a problem considering the level that the current model has:
- Touch screen of 4.1 inches (WVGA)
- Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 1 GHz
- Windows Mobile 6.5
- Camera 3.2 megapixels
- HSDPA and WiFi connectivity
- Built-in GPS
- Very slim: 9.9mm
Toshiba TG02 will be one of the terminals that will be presented at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
