The Sheath Dress-Perfect For Office, Reception And Wedding

Who Am I?

My name is dress-up and I should be known to most dresses fans. Everyone who has ever had to deal with me will know my motto: less is more. I think it is timeless, classic and stylish.

Perfectly suited for any figure, I offer:

A straight, mostly knielangen cut

A tailless, still figure-stressing form

A horizontal or oval neck cut without collar

This Is The Etuikleidern Of Bonprix

Thanks to solid fabrics such as cotton, linen or viscose, I always stay in shape. You will not find sleeves with me in the normal case. For the cooler season, however, I know some short dresses with short ball-sleeves or three-tails. The length of my skirt is well known: knielang is the motto. However, there are also outbreaks in mini-dresses even with an etuikleid. In addition, I am impressed with simple details such as lace trim, colored decorative seams or subtle ruffles.

On Which Occasions Do I Particularly Fit?

As a dress-gown in red, I am the perfect companion for a festive evening reception or a chic cocktail party. In timelessly elegant black, for example, I make a good figure at a business meeting. This has a wonderful effect on the stern and serious character of my wearer. I also like to go on weddings – but as a guest in white or cream. For the bride will not steal the show.

Who Are My Best Friends?

This depends on the time of day and my environment. I like to spend a little more time during the day at the office. As a dress-gown in black or shawl cream I like to travel with blazers and flat heeled shoes. After the work I exchange the two mostly

Against a long cardigan and comfortable ballerinas – ideal for a city stroll or afternoon coffee. In the evening dresses like me prefer to wear bolero jackets, colored pumps and clutch around the houses. This makes me sexy and elegant at the same time. What have I done before? In the 1930s I succeeded the succession of my old friend, the 19th century princess dress. My cut was a little tighter, the sleeves and the hem a bit shorter than my predecessor. Even though I was very popular with women’s fashion, I made my breakthrough only 20 years later. With Édith Piaf, Audrey Hepburn and Jacky Kennedy, I had a lot of strong women by my side in the 1950s and 60s. Especially Audrey had done it to me: Combined with pearl necklace, silk gloves and an elegant dutt I contributed as a dress-gown my part to this style.

What Is Special About Me?

I am told to be a classic of fashion. I would like to emphasize that I shine as a classic with timeless elegance and do not hang in the closet like a dress of last season.
