If you have a Galaxy SII, today you are in luck. Apparently Samsung will not leave that this terminal that still rubs shoulders with the high range of the panorama Android, is stalled in the version 4.0.3 that was updated a few months ago.
As well, and thanks to the guys from SamMobile, it has been confirmed that the SII Galaxy is on track to be updated to Android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich), nothing less that filtering the ROM with which we can update it.
This ROM is dated to June 28, with European region and name XXLQ5, and now you can download from the page where SamMobile hangs all the firmwares, which you can access on the link download and install via Odin.
Before that we want nothing to warn that it is a Full ROM, and if be flashed the phone would suffer deletion of factory. So if you want to install it, we recommend users to make backup of your phone and do so at your own risk.
Good news for the owners of this phone, and according to the Galaxy Note, which is expected to receive this update rumored by means of OTA (over-the-air) or via the Kies software, for now users with free phone.
Seeing this trend would be expected – and demand – both as the Galaxy Note are also updated Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) coming soon.
