So, friends of the sun, you can unsubscribe your Smartwatch from Pebble for the time being and make friends with the idea, at least via the official shop, no device to get to Germany. For months there have been problems with the import, so some orders hang at the customs. It was true that only a few weeks ago we had the feeling that the problems were solved because of missing documents, wrong serial numbers, etc., but the story is now in a completely different direction.
As first buyer of the Pebble Smartwatch report , the watches now hang on the inch, because the federal network agency even imposed a import ban. Pebble deliveries are therefore generally no longer passed by in Germany.
Up until now, all accompanying documents had been missing for watches, which meant that customs clearance could not be met. Nor are the documents known to date concerning the conformity assessment procedure conclusive.
Anyone who ordered a Smartwatch and is still waiting for delivery, can also contact the manufacturer directly ( form ) to cancel this delivery or order.
One can not really be surprised that Germany has failed again in the bureaucracy. On the other hand, it is up to the manufacturer to get the problems clarified or at least to refuse orders from Germany for the time being.
